Hey! Nice of you to drop by! Don't droole by looking at me too much haha! ---An entry to my blog.... I'm now in my supposedly last semester of my law school life but due to the circumstances which i don't have control, its more years to come for me. I realized that every processes is part of assembling a big and intricate painting that will be very clear once I take the bar. Such picture need not be memorized because its already understood from its outermost layer, blended colors, distinct features, various strokes creating texture and dimension even the feel and the drama before it is placed on the palette and dabbed on the canvass. It doesn't stop there, for studying law is of great contrast of complexity and simplicity it is as if even the frame of the painting:the wood it is made out of, the carving of its details and even the drops of sweat that touched it from wood artisan's body, to you it is being presented through passage of time in gaining knowledge and that with great precision, you can say "i know this painting", "i know the law". Oh, it sounds idealistic but that is how it is supposed to be. I embarked to know my country's law to realize a bigger picture. This is our first step to a better and brighter system, let us not deprive our selves of such advancement by stepping back because there are thorns in the way.
Let us not be swept away with the notion of returning to former system when we can have a better one.
Let us believe in the wisdom and the decision of the COMELEC, they are doing their best to accomplish their obligation to the people of this country.
Let us give our support yet be critical about it but not overdo it.
Lastly never stop praying to our Abba, Allah or God for a peaceful and successful exercise of the right of suffrage, counting and proclamation.
Let us be proud to have the right of suffrage embedded in our constitution not as passive right but an active manifestation of each Filipinos's birth-right to empower democracy with responsibility. God bless!
